Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC)
BONDA Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) is non-ionic cellulose ether made from natural cotton fiber under series of chemical processing. It's odorless, tasteless and non-toxic white powder, can be dissolved in cold water to form a transparent viscous solution with the properties of thickening, binding, dispersing, emulsifying, film coating, suspending, absorbing, gelling, water retention and colloid protection.

Application:
Function:
1. HPMC is used as a thickening and water-retaining additive in the production of building and finishing materials (paints, putties, dry building mixes), including in the manufacture of adhesives for tiles, self-leveling floors and concrete products.
2. HPMC is the main modifying additive in almost all types of water-dispersion paints, putties. It is actively used in dry construction mixtures, due to its ability to retain water in the bulk of the solution, in particular, to slow the rapid transition of water to an absorbent base.

Method to use HPMC:
HPMC can be used both in dry form and in the form of an aqueous solution (2-3%).
HPMC mixes well with water, mixing for 15-20 minutes is enough for uniform swelling.
In the form of a dry powder, it is advisable to enter immediately after water, before the rest of the dry raw materials.
